The Hedonistic Diet
Nowadays we fall into the trap of eating, not only to satisfy hunger but also to satisfy our different emotional expectations; for example, to take away sadness, provide us with company in solitude, and even fill us with euphoria.
We are Eating Nature
We mistakenly believe that Nature is a “thing” which humans can use and control, and that we are outside of it; we consider ourselves different from what we call natural without realizing that we are also Nature and that with our current way of eating we end up harming ourselves.
When Money Rules…
The food trade has existed for many centuries and has been practiced in all cultures, at least since the beginning of agriculture and livestock farming. In our time, a mechanism for the production, commercialization and supply of food has been established as part of the globalization of the economy, and it was sold to us as a formula to solve the problem of global hunger. In reality, it has turned out to be a big trap.
This trap consists of the deceptive impression of food wealth, the false possibility of choice, as well as the impression of abundance caused by the enormous quantity of products available in supermarkets. In reality, especially in the case of processed foods, they are just the same ingredients in different presentations.
The Atomized Nutrition
Nutrition as a science currently has a limiting approach because it puts nutrients at the center of food and diet. Although it does not express it openly, it also considers food as a grouping of nutrients packed or enclosed in a shell.

We are a group of people from different disciplines who are concerned with the food and nutritional problems of human beings and the consequences of these problems for the planet. We believe that solutions cannot be the responsibility or the product of the thought of a single person or institution. We are a non-profit group, and we hope that institutions, social movements, and as many people as possible find the results of this project useful.
We like the role that social networks play in bringing together good intentions and creativity.
It is a proposal for dialogue and collective creation around the problems derived from our way of eating. It is a space for reflection that seeks to serve as a platform to build paths that lead to finding solutions to these problems.
